With this merger the many AEG divisons were sold to companies such as Alstom, ABB, Bombardier and Electrolux to name a few. Electrolux aquired the household appliance division of AEG in 1994 and in 2005 purchased the rights to the brand logo, trademark, and name. In 2009 the AEG likeness became a licensed entity to various corporations.
